Ahh glad you mentioned that journey back Texted a couple of mates today How was it?? Heard more about the journey back missed taxi ****jng queues etc Proper grumpy old men
Probably spent an hour and a bit walking around in circles, getting lost, no signal / service, no Uber Taxis available, before giving up and heading 'back to town' after being directed a friendly Manc (why do all the Scousers sound dodgy?) before finding a main road with loads of takeaways and shops (walked past some takeaway where the whole shop was jump.up down and sideways singing Sweet Caroline) surreal and hilarious, got an Uber for the last 3 miles (not that I had clue how far) as my legs / feet had given up after being stood up / jumping (mildly) for X hours... Cracking gig rkid...
I've Cast twice and John Power on his own. I thought they where class. Going to Wembley on Saturday. Buzzing for it.
Just bagged another 4 Oasis tickets for tomorrow. Off to Wembley with the lads! This one is gonna be epic.
On Sunday I was refreshing twickets for an hour or 2 and 3 different pairs came up for Wembley , face value and some even lower, I must have seen them all within 5 mins of going on and by time I clicked they’d gone, just don’t think it’s meant to be
Its impossible to get them on there, tours have bots running reserving them before Th ey even hit the website.
Well Friday night at Wembley was ****ing biblical. Probably the best day I’ve ever had. PS All my belongings are currently for sale, except that Oasis Wembley t-shirt. Will offer good trades for Oasis Murrayfield or Croke Park tickets.
Once of the few pictures I took on Saturday night. I'm still buzzing and looking at getting tickets for the Wembley gigs at the end of September.
Good pic,not a huge fan of Oasis(I like some of their stuff,I'm not a total dinosaur) but that place looks rammed and the picture alone put the hair on the back of my neck up!!! I know a couple of you on here have gone to see them and an odd thing to say but you can feel your excitement through your posts...That's special
I've seen both Liam and Noel twice in their solo years and they both great. But there's something extra when they both get on stage together.
I just turned down another pair of standing tickets for Sunday at £335 each. Changed my mind again 5 minutes later and someone else already had them What a fool.
Honestly, I can’t even put into words just how good these gigs have been. The buzz in the area, the atmosphere in the stadium, every one up bouncing and singing. Think Wembley 2008, but somehow even better.
I’m going to one of the late Sept ones. Didn't want tickets at all tbh, but Mrs Tash wanted to go and I managed to get them at face value so it was tricky to say no. Having said that, as @Ric Glasgow said it’s clear everyone on here who have been have enjoyed it. In particular I’ve been to many gigs with @Ron Burguvdy so I definitely trust his positive opinion. I’m not too disappointed I’m going now, and hopefully I’ll come back admitting my initial reaction was wrong.
My name is Thunder. I've seen Thunder live four times. If you, as I do, think Oasis are 'Not Bad', then you should see Thunder. I do not work for Thunder.
