Really impressing me tonight, mixes his game up really well and love his work out of possession

Adingra feels a bit more predictable and slow to react defensively, adingra feels the more x factor type and Talbi will be solid most weeks

Talbi much brighter tonight. Adingra causes problems but needs to refine his touches as they seem loose, lovely goal though.

I’m a bit worried about Mayenda’s lack of movement in the box. I think we need a 9

Also please can we sign some defenders.

    Midfield 3 good as usual

At this point in his development it feels like we’re preventing him from doing what he’s good at and asking him to do stuff he’s not quite ready for. He’s not a game in game out line leader. It also kills any opportunity for him to get on the ball and carry it. Would love us to bring Abdullahi for him to play off in the second half. Suspect there’s absolutely no chance of that though.

Decent half, really good goal from us but then a sloppy one to concede

Talbi the stand out for me, closely followed by Diarra (what a player he's going to be for us). Think Ballard has been good tonight and id love to see him with atop quality CB (diakite ideally) as feel he could really kick on

Not been impressed with Seelt tonight, can tell there's a good player there but needs to play regularly imo so hoping he gets a loan later in the window

Sadiki very raw but I just really like him, love his energy and I think he will learn so much from Xhaka (hurry up and get that one confirmed)

Mayenda struggling a bit for me, but he's still working hard so that's always the starting point

Moore should be 3rd choice only

we'll sign a striker and its no slight on mayenda

it would be malpractice to head into the season with him as the main man

its like rigg, they'll both still play a part and its not a slight on them

Yeah can't see us playing 2 up top much this season. Mayenda will learn how to play with his back to goal, just feel having another quality CF will allow him to learn from them. Isidor is shocking, imo, wiyh his back to goal so he could do with learning from someone as well

I think our patterns of play are starting to look better.

talbi is impressing me, but I’m going to give the wingers credit and say pre season so far isn’t helping them as the games are being played at a pretty slow pace and it just doesn’t suit them as they can’t really get at players quickly. Most of our lads haven’t even played 2 90s worth of minutes yet.

Sadiki and Diarra are so so good and ELF is going to be class too

but we’re desperate for CBs GK

Can see us playing a midfield 3 of xhaka diarra and sadiki especially away from home but will be xhaka in for sadiki initially I think.

Obviously clear the cb and gk issues need sorting. Also wouldn’t mind another winger, I can see talbi and adingra being in and out of games which is to be expected. A proper number 9 too will be on the list too I think, will give us the option of mayenda on the right if needed too.

I think Mayenda be a different beast when the real stuff kicks off.

I’m absolutely all for a striker though, even if it’s one to help Mayenda and Wilson develop.

We could just look at a physical bastard striker like Muriqi at Mallorca.

    That would have benefits.
