And hes gone. Wednesday will be very interesting to watch this season. Barely any pros will be left by the start of the season, they can only open three stands at Hillsborough and their owner looks dead set on killing the club. I actually don't see a way out for them.
Seeing the changes makes me quite glad I'm not doing 75% of the games again this season. Those lunchtime kick-offs will go well in front of the TV with a hearty lunch instead of schlepping around at inconvenient times
Speaking selfishly, Norwich at 12:30 is great as it will (slightly) increase my chances of getting a ticket.
And I noticed there is even an 8:15 on a Monday night too. Probably be 1 in 3 games at 3pm Saturday kick offs this season. I'm moving back to Hampshire after leaving a few years ago and don't even think I will bother with a season ticket.
Yeah I remember saying a lot last season that it's gonna be a nightmare. One of the big championship attractions is worse than the PL now. No Friday/Monday night games at least I suppose.
Radio Solent mentioned how Portsmouth brushed aside Reading last weekend. I can see them being a dark horse this season. They have not been mentioned as potential candidates. I just feel that with Leicester seemingly out of the picture, there could be some unlikely teams in the top spaces. Would not under estimate WBA, Birmingham, Wrexham or Portsmouth. I can see teams like QPR struggling. In my opinion Saints will be mid table.
