Dirty rotten bastards Five women who were exploited by grooming gangs in Rotherham as children say they were also abused by police officers in the town at the time. One says she was raped from the age of 12 by a serving South Yorkshire Police (SYP) officer in a marked police car. He would threaten to hand her back to the gang if she did not comply, she says. "In a world where you were being abused so much, being raped once [by a police officer] was a lot easier than multiple rapes [by the gang] and I think he knew that," she tells the BBC. We have seen written accounts from these women, plus testimony from 25 other victims of grooming gangs, with some of those women saying that corrupt police officers worked alongside the gangs or failed to act on child sexual exploitation. At least 1,400 girls in Rotherham were abused by gangs of men, identified by victims as being of mainly Pakistani heritage, between 1997 and 2013, the landmark Jay Report concluded in 2014. A new criminal investigation into the involvement of police officers in the Rotherham grooming scandal is now being led by SYP's major crime unit, under the direction of the police watchdog. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cn9y0lvpyqvo
The SYP have a long and shameful history of **** behaviour. They were shown to have fabricated evidence against miners in the 1984/5 strike, they lied non stop about Hillsborough and were responsible for doing **** all to protect abuse victims in Rotherham. Can not even begin to imagine how those women must now feel...hope they get true justice
Interesting twist to the New York shooting, appears the guy had CTE, sports related injury. Just been listening to it on the news, and apparently it can only be properly diagnosed after death. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c2en7k2e77wo
Just has a quick read online, Crown to decide if they will seek a retrial on the other charge. Edit: they 'intend' to seek a retrial
The younger one will rightly be facing a stretch ... headbutting is never self defence, it's a cowardly attack that can cause a lot of damage to the unsuspecting recipient... looks like he will be facing 3 counts of ABH ... riddance .
The jury couldn’t reach a verdict, apparently. Bet that was a fun ten hours having to re-explain the case to some bint who can barely tie her own shoelaces or an absolute hero who had decided to find them not guilty from the start. k den
The videos tell the story, the brother gets between the first victim and the one who has been found guilty so he can't get hit again, and doesn't throw any punches until after he gets punched in the face b the cop. He interfered in the arrest of his brother, so there is that, maybe they'l get a 'stop the boats' jury next time.
It should be an attempted murder charge for every child. Selfish old bastard. Imagine living your life and then trying to take the lives of kids on your way out. A 76-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of administering poison after children fell ill at a summer camp in Leicestershire. Police said an investigation was under way in Canal Lane, Stathern, after eight children were taken to hospital as a precaution on Sunday. All have since been discharged. Officers had gone to the camp with East Midlands Ambulance Service after receiving reports about the children feeling unwell. The arrested man was detained on suspicion of administering poison/a noxious thing with intent to injure/aggrieve/annoy. He remains in custody.
Massive cover-up and I’ve got no faith in them blowing this wide open. At least one of the ****ers is dead. Hopefully there’s a mass suicide with the other officers who were involved in this.
The police officer thing was implied in the groomed documentary but nothing else was said. It's proper fuking sick
It's often a given in my book, that if something is a cover up, it generally means those at the very top are likely involved, coppers, MP's, judges, the whole system will be corrupt from top to bottom. You've only got to look at Trump and Epstein for evidence of that, chuck in the odd Royal for good measure.
Jimmy Saville happened for a reason, and it wasn't just the BBC. Probably chuck a few MP's in on that one as well. It will just be a complete web of corruption and systematical failures. Generally it will then get dumped all on one person to protect the others, again I give you Epstein (dead) and Saville (dead). There was a reason I never liked certain so called celebs after the Saville case, because they knew more than they let on and in my eyes are just as guilty, they allowed it to happen and sometimes that will be to protect their own careers rather than risk being called a liar or wrong. Ie they didn't put the kids first.
I always remember a case in Kent, look up Sandyridge children's home in Greatstone. Over 30 years ago, might be more, I believe those involved in that home are also dead, so you will never get the failings from those at the very top. Kids trafficked from London.
Agree with everything you said and similar pattern with Hillsborough where they knew it went right to the top and basically waited until the most senior people were no longer alive.
