I’m not going to worry about which players we can keep hold of, which ones we can get rid of etc when the season hasn’t even started yet ffs But whatever floats your boat I guess.
We play with 3 central midfield players. We have Ampadu, Stach, Longstaff, Tanaka, Gruev and Aaronson. I would say they are a strong 6 for a bottom half team. Not sure we need any more unless you offload a few.

Kessie is a bit of a shock if true, but genuinely can't see how he improves the squad for the money he will demand ... can't see him wanting anything less than at least £120k a week and Ahli paying off the balance of his wages ... I’ve openly admitted on a few occasions that I’d never heard/knew nothing about him until the speculation started. My personal preference (no rumours or links so not meaning to get the hares running) would be Reiss Nelson at Arsenal, known PL quality.
