I know nothing of him really so it's interesting to hear his teams aren't very creative. From what he's said he wants to play quite attacking football and doesn't believe in possession for the sake of it which is music to my ears after Martin lol. He'll be judged on results though ultimately and with the early fixtures he's got will be under pressure to deliver almost immediately. Nothing but a win against that lot at home will be seen as acceptable and starting with the potential banana skin of an up for it Wrexham and Ipswich away isn't ideal. I agree that they might surprise a few this season too as I really rate their manager. Wouldn't surprise me if he was poached mid season.
Was talking to a family of Sheff Wed fans on the way to London for Oasis, they have a family of season tickets they don't know if they can even access due to them being told they cannot open one of their stands for safety reasons, not even had any dialogue from the club Apparently they have stopped taking bets at some bookmakers on them going down
Club seems to be a sinking ship. Would be ruptions if it was here. Manager now walked out. Absolute shambles
No friendlies other than one behind closed doors, hardly any players their captain is essentially training for free and now the managers gone, what a miserable state of affairs there Hope the EFL are happy
In other news Blackburn Keeper Pears is apparently missing pre season and potentially the start of the season due to a hair transplant thats caused issues Thought only this kind of thing would happen to us
Pompey fans kicking off that their game at St Mary's is a "Bubble" match for them, they have to get to Fratton Park for thier ticket (if they get one) to travel the 26 miles instead of making their own way down the M27, saying its unfair because of a few token idiots the rest have to suffer,
They had hundreds of 'token idiots' at Wembley who spoiled the day for a lot of people. They caused trouble at the SOL and threw missiles down on our supporters. They cause massive trouble every time the play Southampton. Boo hoo if they have to put a bit of effort in to go to a match once this season,
Been amongst Sheff Wed fans today. Honestly my heart goes out to them. They have literally nothing good to hang onto. Such a brilliant old football club. Could have easily been us. Just hope something saves the day, but I really do fear another Phoenix situation coming. Football authorities, govt, etc etc. All completely useless. This is not some poxy business. This is part of the fabric of our country. Disgraceful that nobody gets the obvious answers.
