    Why not though?
You get less for your money

Prem club income from fans is basically inconsequential

You get higher quality games. No wonder City get nowhere with the small time, small town attitude of their fans.

Yes. Sorry. Should have said a lot of our fans. Unfortunately wanting something for next to nothing is a bit of a Hull trait.
Should have asked for a refund when I saw the Beatles. They were on for 22 minutes. A week or so before that saw the Nashville Teens who were on stage for a lot longer but cost less.

    22 minutes?
    Id be well annoyed
    Whats even the point

Pound to hour is a good metric for entertainment

One hour of entertainment per £10 is a good price

A £10 book could last dozens of hours

Nowt wrong with Wetherspoons, it's just fashionable for snobby gits to knock them. :emoticon-0138-think

I don't love Spoons, but my principles are easily bought off with cheap beer.

It is cheap in Ebeneezer’s but cleaner and a more pleasant place to be.

I am speaking of Admiral not Spoons in general. The one is good for reasonably price food and beer. But I wouldn’t use it as a local.
