The mad thing about the Burstow situation isn’t loaning him out, it’s buying him in the first place after a fairly horrendous loan at Sunderland and spending a fair wack in him. We’ve wasted some dough lately.
Some Chelsea academy players have been paid big wages but its highly unlikely Burstow would be amongst them. I also don't think he is anywhere near 15k a week with us. The simple fact is he isn't very good and we have a couple of senior strikers about to sign so it's prudent to get him out on loan and recoup some of his wages for a while.
I’d say it’s prudent to sack the ****ers who signed him last season then give up on him Decisions like this is why we’re in the ****
So what's your view? Burstow is on peanuts and we're paying all his wage anyway, Akintola and Destan are on mega wages and They are gone though aren't they. The recruitment team from last summer isn't managing it now, it's Dublin and Hodge.
That's where the problems lie, I can't believe it's Acun doing all the scouting, desicion making and contract drafting. He mainly, normally, sometimes just signing the cheques.
