His wife holding his kid on the video, fair play to him for getting on board with us with 3 young kids in tow
Aye. And we haven’t seen sustained success. Those playoffs changed something I feel. Being underdog, off form, tense. The ****ing unity of the lads and the fans willed it to happen. The way it happened. I bet even the man KLD himself looked and thought ‘fuuuuuck’ I’ll never forget the surreal moment a grown, not unsubstantial man flew airborne over me after Ballard scored. Something came to life that night and KLD is feeding it raw meat.
Something special is happening that's for sure, I wonder if this signing might make Lucumi and any other targets on the fence want to come here asap
Best couple of weeks of my life that was, I was even praying to god on that corner which I had never done before and did it again at 1-1 at Wembley. I think i'm a true convert now Proper fairytale stuff
Just puts it all into perspective. We had dozens of so-called experts and journalists posting about fees, facts and figures ... ... then it was what stage the negotiations were at, what Ten Haag wanted, how Xhaka would stay at Bayer, etc etc etc. The reality is that, even yesterday, most of them didn't have a bloody clue and some were saying the deal was off. The club feed those they trust and the others pick up little crumbs and make the rest up imo ... ... but they know they have a voracious audience who'll feed off whatever they throw out.
My last memory of dad at the match is him, despite being poorly jumping up and down like a lunatic, dancing and cheering like never before after ballard scored. That night awoke a monster, Wembley fed it and now KLD is about to unleash it. I fully expect our biggest fee to be smashed before the season starts on someone special. We wondered if we could get a Harvey Elliot l, I see no reason we couldn't
Beautiful moment to share mate. If that’s his last memory of Sunderland, and we all know how deeply we feel this club, wonderful thought that he lived that last. A rebirth of the club in a way.
A friend of the club, mentioning no names B*b, knows where all the houses are which the club owns ... ... I propose a squadron of drones to maintain 24/7 surveillance
There’s a stunning gaff for sale down Whitburn at the minute. Wouldn’t shock me if one of the lads buys it.
It belonged to Dave Ashfield, of 'Relentless Misery' fame ... ... he was up from Devon on a visit last weekend. This was one of the photos he sent ...
