Time traveller you say? Like in the tv show Saphire and Steel? Ha. My source is out of the bag. Welcome home Jason Steel.
Yeah I think so. Will be a cracking signing for someone in the championship, really felt for him getting injured and missing so much.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we let him go for around the £1m mark. There’s a lot of clubs he’d be handy for, for that sort of fee.
Watson’s goal just been played. That short little video of him running into the corner in slow motion is class. At least half of our fans aren’t even watching him run to the corner, they’re turned around just jumping in huddles of 5 or 6. I was doing the same thing up in the gods. Pure passion. Love to see it.
Sounds like he was tempted by a couple of English clubs but feels going to Italy might be best for his development Bologna strongly linked, they did amazing developing Ferguson and Miller is a bigger talent than him
Funny old game as someone once said. I fell in love, many moons ago with Italian football. It had a soul and a romance about it I loved. It also attracted some of our best footballers and I loved watching them over there. Hately was a real favourite of mine at the time. Now I still watch more Seria A than any other top league (may have to change that now) and I am seeing an array of British talent lighting up the league again. Full circle for me really.
I was hoping a few might join in but loads of people are on the list. Quite a few have even offered to buy SOL tickets for people, free of charge, if anyone's not flush. It reminds me of when I ran the Mansfield bus and we'd go to almost every game. I'd stick £1 on everyone's subs and, if ever anyone was laid off or on the sick, there'd be enough in the pot to keep them going. Life was simpler then and we all just stuck together. People may knock it now, as sentimentality, but we looked after each other and supported the Lads. If this collective works as it looks like doing my life will have gone full circle after half a century following Sunderland.
