Surly there's still rules,Chunk? For some reason I find it hard to get on board with them, and it's not jealousy.
There's rules that they stick to, now they have gone up they move from the league 1 rules Scmp? to the championship part rules so that gives them scope. Then you add in their commercial deals and they have a very big income
I said at the start, that if Xhaka were to come here, having a fellow countryman as the owner could go a long way. Personally I said it was a non starter but wanted to be wrong. Champion.
The fact they sponsored by United shows the reach. They have done a stunning job. Yea, they’ve bought their way up, but they’ve funded it at the back end as they’ve gone. They have absolutely understood how the current world works and they have worked it superbly. You can not give them credit. I like them both anyway, good blokes.
You cant fault them really, they bought a club on its knees, took it to America and played on their fame, then when they needed extra they brought incredibly rich investors in while they stay as the face of it
They're competing against clubs with tiny budgets and small crowds ... ... for the moment they're best ignored in my opinion. They'll come crashing down though, in one way or another.
They may well do, but they have owners that got the club and tapped into it. Bit like us but from a lower starting point
I’m not sure they will. There’s demand for a football club in that area, I could easily see them outdoing what Swansea did. Easy to forget Swansea went from a derelict stadium to a PL club in a handful of seasons. I honestly think Wrexham can pull bigger crowds, and for sure their owners can pull in better commercial deals. They can be big, if you look at Bournemouth as an example I don’t doubt for a single second Wrexham can be bigger than them. They won’t piss through the Championship. They will fight to stay up.
Only concern I'd have with them is most signings are short term ones only - noticed a couple younger players, by their standards, have joined this summer Got nothing against them other than I f**king hate Parkinson
Aye they signing to try and survive this year, rather than compete to go up. Very different challlenge, and a very different calibre of competition.
Real shame that didn’t happen. Could argue Wrexham had more heritage for sure but from a local perspective would have been good to see.

He has brought in high calibre experienced people to build an infrastructure where everyone is accountable and given the tools and backing to achieve their objectives with regard to producing the desired results . In all of my time supporting SAFC sixty three years I have never known the club to be so professionally run which is a credit to KLD and his team - long may it continue !!!
Think it’s more he’s laid out his ambitions for the club and where he aims us to be in ten years time, but still exciting either way
Are we likely looking at a week or two for international clearance? Assuming he is confirmed tomorrow
