I feel like im the one losing the plot and going insane. It must make complete sense to loan out a player in a threadbare position before the result of an appeal. I mean its the only logical answer
Tell us something we don't already know!!! This is actually so poor and sloppy that it's ****ing hilarious
Still not signed and Nixon talks ****e half the time, hoping NewcastleTiger’s mate is half blind and left his glasses back at the farm.
This is completely the problem. Look at Pedro. Ok, he's lost a bit otherwise he still be playing in Serie A, but he showed on enough occasions (5?) that he could score. Overall though, how many chances did he get? I don't recall Burstow missing too many chances that he should have scored. Joseph? Scored none but gilt-edged chances missed none also. I know that top goalscorers make their own chances and get into more goalscoring positions; all our forwards last year were lacking with that, but, even so, expecting high returns from the chances we created was a bit fanciful.
pretty much last season we would have needed a genuine top level striker to score 10+, the ones who score from the very few chances they get
Unfortunately writing SURELY in capitals isn't the same as writing FACT in capitals. It's not guaranteed to make it true.
so from the squad we ended the season with these players have gone ; burstow alzate (basically gone) jones macca Jacob pedro amrabat burns gelhardt Lincoln puerta( he would be in the 'in' section but.. he cant play) and we have brought in ; Ajayi Phillips yikes..
The the way we are going I expect Johhny Eyre to be on the bench tomorrow and probably up front at Coventry.
I remember posters saying only a few tweaks this summer That big money striker signing and we’d be fine You really do wonder what was in Alzate signing on deal?
We’ve had dodgy owners and we’ve had spiteful owners but I think Acun might be the thickest owner we’ve ever had and one of the dodgiest as well.
He had surgery on his ankle after the season ended, so hopefully it’s just that? (FWIW we signed him while he was injured, knew he needed surgery, and still went ahead with the deal) Although, it’s nailed on he’s going to end up being out injured before the season starts.
I think we will see a couple more players leaving too. Fully expect Kamara to be sold. As for the Alzate deal? makes you wonder how many palms have been greased, Sounds very similar to the Philogene deal.
