Why does he need a wig? Does baldness equate to stupidity?

    Interesting
I saw Diarra as more of an 8 rather than a 6.
Personally I like ELF a little deeper.
That's the joy of football, it's all about opinions, glad we don't have to make the call. Lol

I don’t know, think it needs a bit more…. No it’s class. Xhaka is left footed so might help with the balance there.

I would love to think we evolve into a 433 over time. I suspect it will be 4231 to start. Try to make sure we get a possession based foothold in the game, and not be played through in the middle. Xhaka plus one as the 2 deeper players. It will be Neil if signs imo. Diarra, Le Fee, plus one for the 3 would be my hope. Probs Adringa at the mo.

Hard to say though with the club this summer. Hard to predict them and the potential signing of Lauriente had me scratching my head.

Football is such a simple game :emoticon-0140-rofl:

I just leave it to the experts now and sit back and watch. At last I'm relatively confident that SAFC actually know what they are doing.

It will be a tough season but at least we appear to have given ourselves a chance. CB's GK and striker pending.

While I think that’s certainly possible, I think it’s a mistake to let him go, for a load of reasons that go beyond his place in the squad for next season.

How much could Granit Xhaka earn at Sunderland?
TBR Football understands that Xhaka will not be taking a wage cut from his Bayer Leverkusen deal – indeed, we are told the midfielder will be getting a wage rise.

Right now, Enzo Le Fee is the highest earner, but the ex-Gunner is set to blow that out of the water.

History is made in Sunderland, Xhaka is coming to the Stadium of Light.

    So do I.

That said, I hope he stays and tries to up his game. A midfield roster of Diarra, Le Fee, Xhaka, Sadiki, Neil and Rigg would be a great place to start next season.
