Most other clubs have means to make up the shortfall. Some will sell off shares etc. Acun is pumping money into via a loan against Acun Medya from Santander. We are at this stage currently relying on the word of him writing off large chunks of the debt if he ever was to sell because the debt probably far outweighs the true value of the club someone is willing to pay. Alternatively as Syd mentioned it’s asset stripping the playing squad.
While we (the club) spend the next week + wishful thinking...we could be building a squad around free options. We could build a squad with what's available now capable of surviving. But sit on it 2 more weeks and it will be bleaker. Id just crack on now and by some miracle they lift it, we can buy people in Jan.

As long as we get a winger to get us through till Miller and Beloumi are back,i think Acun will sort something for Zambrano deal plus matazo to come back I am pretty sure with service Joseph and Burstow will improve greatly with more game time and chances we brought them to the club so give them a chance young players only become great if you play them.
Joseph has shown nothing ever in his career to suggest that. Burstow neither but at least on occasion he looks a bit of a threat…
No, I would’ve stopped targeting him ages ago. I don’t know why the club have wasted so much time on him as the ‘number one target’.
