Could anyone on here enlighten me as to when these turn up / how they work ?? I renewed my passes in June with an upfront for the season payment to try and help Acun with his cash flow problems .!! I was told at the time the club was changing to digital passes and they would be sent out soon . I’ve heard nothing since then and as an old technophobe I’m a little confused. Thanks in advance.
Just going by what I was told over the phone when renewing in June ? If I remember correctly I was told digital pass or £10 extra for card ? I’m still confused.
You need to speak to the ticket office, the digital pass and the card are the same thing aren’t they?
I suspect. it'll just be like a travel card, gym card - downloadable via the app or an email and easily added to the wallet and scanned like the regular card - this is a good thing, it's the only card I have to remember these days
Agree. If your phone ****s up or runs out of battery you're ****ed. Not a lot to go wrong with a card (or going further back a book or piece of paper.)
I shall be going this week to purchase a season ticket, paying up front for the season, but changing my seat because the knobhead behind me does my crust in. If they're going to say I can no longer have a physical card, they can forget it..Like loads of people I don't own an iPhone. Just a simple pay and go.
Yeah, I've no doubt some people would prefer a physical card....but providing one for me (and maybe some others) is a hassle for me and the club.... I doubt theyll stop physical cards, you'll probably just have to pay a couldn't have quid for one.
If that's the case there shouldn't be a problem...I'll give the ticket office a call tomorrow to ask, just to make sure. Tar....
I've always found the ticket office to be very helpful, the tickets not sold on a rugby day might not be their decision. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
You can use your cards from last season. Everyone is getting a digital pass. If you are a new member then it's a digital pass but you can have a card as well if you pay £10.
Very true, but as I am show you will agree, very silly. In hard times with the club on the crest of a slump you'd think they would welcome every penny.
Will they still continue to send out/hand out at the window physical paper tickets for single matches? I can't be doing with all this swipe your phone malarky,it fries my ****ing brain!!!I As for the thread title "Digital Pass"...I tried to 'pass' on a 'digital' at the hospital last week,my plea for mercy made no difference, got told to drop em,lie on my side, hoist my knees up to my chin and think of England
No,I was thinking about match day tickets and wondering why he's put the postage up to £2.... Greedy Bastards!!
