Sunderland face Hull in a pre-season friendly at the MKM Stadium.
Last time out Sunderland lost at Hearts and Hull beat Stockport County.
The Black Cats lost 3-0 at Hearts as the home side looked well ahead of the Wearsiders in terms of fitness and intensity.
Anthony Patterson, Chris Rigg and Wilson Isisdor were again absent, Regis Le Bris says that Wilson could be back after the Hull game but Rigg and Patterson need another 10 days. Reinildo will also miss the next few games as he catches up on fitness. Triantis and Johnson were not in the squad at Hearts but could be recalled.
Mason Burstow’s second-half header earned Hull City victory over League One side Stockport County in the Tigers’ first public domestic friendly of the summer.
The forward powered home an unstoppable header from Ryan Giles’ inch-perfect cross with 15 minutes remaining to secure a fourth successive pre-season win for Sergej Jakirović’s men.

    Regis le Bris:

    Sergej Jakirović:

    Team Lineups:
    Sunderland AFC Squad:
Moore, Hume, Seelt, Ballard, H. Jones, Sadiki, Le Fee, Diarra, Talbi, Adingra, Mayenda
    Team.JPG
Subs: Nna Noukeu, Huggins, Lavery, Browne, Roberts, Neil, H. Jones, Aleksic, Ogunsuyi, Tutierov, Abdullahi
Injured: O’Nien, Alese, Cirkin, Hjelde, Mundle, Patterson, Rigg, Isidore.

Hull City: Pandur, Drameh, Egan, Hughes, Giles, Slater, Crooks, Palmer, Kamara, Brown, Joseph
Subs: Phillips, Wadsworth, Ajayi, Ashbee, McCarthy, Vaughan, Myers, Tinsdale, Sellers-Fleming, Burstow.

    My two pence:
It was a tough watch against Hearts, well done to all of those that travelled to watch it. <applause>
Hull are probably at a similar fitness level, so I'm hoping for a better outcome than the last game.
But remember it means absolutely zilch in pre-season <cheers>

    I’m going for a 2-0 Sunderland win

Another good run out for the squad and quick turnaround from the weekend which help fitness levels.

Intrigued what the starting line up will be, most of the 1st teamers played 60 on Saturday so I'd thought they would play less tomorrow but I could see most playing the same again

Id like to see Roberts and Aleksic start in the wider areas just to rotate a little and potentially even Abdullahi upfront

Id put Seelt and Huggins on the bench as well just to rest them.as they are back from bad injuries

    My team
    Moore
Hume ballard Johnson or J.Jones H.Jones
    Sadiki diarra
    Roberts Le Fee Aleksic
    Adbullahi

Id maybe start Browne instead of Le Fee but all about manging minutes
