I think ive mentioned this before... check out AMY'S CYCLING ADVENTURES on YT. This girl had a nervous breakdown (mental health nurse) and then an eating disorder. Her Dad bought her a Carrera bike and her husband got her a Go Pro. She does everything for charity and has ridden very stage of the Tour with but not only that ridden the stop and start points with only her husband as support, staying in bB's. No massages, or super foods, mainly baguettes and sweets. Her just giving page is now 53k for two mental health charities. Great mantra too I CAN AND I WILL.
OO's chances, or indeed anyone's chances of moving up, have been lessened today with a really unfortunate route change cutting 2 of the climbs out today
OO blew today unfortunately. I do believe he missed his chance. Pog momentarily attacked at about 11k Olney followed and Lipowitz couldnt hold his wheel. When Pog took his foot off the gas he should have attacked instead of just sitting there. Experience gained I'd say.
Well there we go. The end of the free to air coverage. It's been high quality programming with some top presenters and commentators over the years. Not much of that left in sports coverage these days imo. Here's a bit of Pete Shelley
I wonder if they're going to use that new circuit in Paris every year now ? I thought it was much better with the hill that actually made some interesting racing on the last day No chance for the pure sprinters to win though
It's was a good one. Maybe they will vary it year to year. When Greg LeMond won in 89 it was a time trial into Paris.
