He just tries to be clever but never EVER commits. Is happy to take the piss out of others but never EVER says his own opinion. And he will likely come back with a cocky snidey little crap comment on this. Because that kind of person does that. I guess it’s just an old man thing.
I'm not getting arsy mate it's all good.. Stay on the topic of debate rather than trying to do a Craig hope job on the old bastard.
Yes I would agree he didn’t do an awful lot but criticise the people around him. While making false claims of himself being a hard worker. His opinion may have been right mind. He just like you say didn’t do anything to change it. Apparently he was hated by most people at the club aswell. Not want you want for someone in that position.
Ok I’m just making sure he’s still awake. But the club is a mess right now at the top. No one can deny that. Apart from Howe the rest are basically failing.
As for everybody kicking off about lack of activity.... We went for Mbeumo quick, realised his wage demands were ridiculous and pulled the plug. We moved on to second choice and signed Elanga. We then jumped in for Pedro (having previously pissed both him and his agent off ) we got outdone on wages and personal demands by Chelsea. We now appear to have gone in for Sesko, by all accounts have agreed personal terms and now in process of striking a deal with Leipzig. In the mean time we also appear to be making inroads with Wissa. We've had a deal in place for Trafford which we've lost out on to Man City due to a previous contractual obligation. We'll more than likely see some movement on the goalkeeping front soon would be my thinking. The centre back position seems to have gone a tad cool but there's been strong links to a number of players. My guess is waiting to see how much we splash out on a striker/2 strikers first.
There's still time in the window, but the pattern seems to be very predictable. I fear we could end up panic buying once Isak is sold and sellers will probably increase the Newcastle tax.
We're in a different situation this summer.. The takeover buzz has long since evaporated.. I really hope we do something similar though I'm just getting a little concerned following Mitchells comments and how things have gone since.
Again mate, this is all down to how an individual interprets things. It was a comment that didn't get an explanation which in all honesty was shocking from whoever conducted the interview. Did he mean short term? Long term? first team? Development squad? Youth team? Did he mean overall? did he mean scouting? It was a vague comment but its pissed a lot of people off.
He became available when we were trying to sign Ekitike. And we just moved on and signed him. Apparently Sociedad came to us. We paid the amount they wanted and the rest is history. I’ve also heard there is a sell on clause.
I think our scouting has been extremely lazy recently though. The players we have tried to sign were always getting deals above us. Manu paid the manu tax when signing Mbueno. But the one that irks me most is the Delap one. Because he’s just hardly going to play for Chelsea. Chelsea have sighed so many players just to stop others getting them. There should be some form of rules for the amount of players you can have on your books.
The likes of villa has an elite recruitment set up with people living close to players and agents all over the world. It allows them to act fast on deals. I honestly don't know what Newcastle's is like at all, but we seem to be incredibly slow. The coming weeks will surely see multiple signings?
Yeah Isak going to Liverpool and Ekitike' being hijacked. Unfortunately it appears Man United will hijack this one
