I wonder what other fans think.. Do they think its funny, or do they think this idiot could incite trouble that we don't want here ?
Had a few pathetic comments in Newcastle Central on the way home last night, funny how they only comment then scurry away like little rats when you say something back eh.
One came past us when we were having a drink outside the Spoons at Waverly station, full kit ... ... of course he had his girlfriend, who looked normal, with him. They always have a woman or a bairn with them as cover
it really defies logic why anyone would do that. A full kit ****er turning up to a pre season friendly for your rivals is just bizarre. I have to assume he lives in Edinburgh, because if not it means he's travelled up specifically for it and will likely be sharing the train back for over 2 hours with the same fans he's trying to taunt, which just adds another layer of weirdness to it. It can only be a matter of time before one of these idiots gets a kicking. All it takes is for one of them to run into some of our less friendly lot who are beered up and it could escalate very quickly. It might get in the news, but who would have sympathy? You can just imagine it. Mag - "Your honour, I was minding my own business, showing support for my team by wearing my full Toon kit, when these mackems came up and started abusing me, so I said something back and got punched" Judge - "And this happened in Newcastle?" Mag - "No, your honour, Edinburgh" Judge - "And Newcastle were playing in Edinburgh?" Mag - "No, Singapore, the mackems were playing in Edinburgh" Judge - "Do you live in Edinburgh?" Mag - "No, your honour, I live in Byker, I just travelled up for the day" Judge -" why did you travel up to Edinburgh for the day in your full kit to support your team if they are playing in Singapore and your arch rivals are playing Edinburgh that day instead?" Mag - "errr, ...."
