We looked much better when the young lads came on. They have outshone some of the senior pros.

To be fair he was getting some fairly duff service in the second half.

Better 2nd half, another win, Burstow as I have said before looks better bet than Joseph IMO, took his goal well.

If anything, that was a decent little work out against a fairly well organised, pretty fit Stockport side.

It was worth a watch to be fair and should put a bit of match fitness into our legs,Tuesday could be more informative.UTT.

I think the manager would have been thrilled with some of the young lads. Something to work with. Seems also that the appt of Andy Holden as defensive coach hasn't done any damage either.

I know we score after the subs I though we looked excellent start of the second half up to the first round of subs and if it means Crooks has to drop deep to take the ball and start things moving I'm happy with that. He seems quite calm doing it.

Standouts for me Drameh, great energy, the rest of the defensive line, Giles getting better and Crooks.

His body language has been shocking for 12 months. Not sure if it's just him or he just doesn't like it here. He's got talent which makes it more frustrating and we need him at the moment. He's still very young.

Thought the same. First half looked like two League One teams and Stockport probably shaded it. Second half was a lot better from City and it was a good goal from Burstow.
Everyone looked fit and wanting to impress and we know the Championship will be lot tougher than what we saw this afternoon but all the same we looked better than we did this time last season. Its obvious where the weaknesses are and if we don't do anything about it then we deserve all what is coming to us. But you cannot fault the effort this afternoon. Noisy away support too.
    MOTM.
    1 Crooks
    2 Hughes
    3 Dramhar
Mention for Brown too, he's got something.

I noticed as every one was congratulating Burstow for the goal, Kamara put his hands on his hips and looked annoyed. I wondered if he was selfishly annoyed that he could have had the goal, but the replay showed he wasn't close enough, so **** knows.
