Possibly. The position we find ourselves is great. But the behind scenes isn’t. It’s a mess. It’s just lucky we have a mega asset to sell which might actually help us. The club behind the scenes seems a mess and that’s what needs sorting at the moment.
I think the same thing. Can't give dates but am pretty sure all the papers said he had shown an interest in moving after a couple of European clubs enquired about him not when Liverpool enquired.
Our recruitment team is useless so they'll not do it and it would of course mean having to sign another right winger. We need about 6 or 7 signings and can't even make one of any real quality. #not fit for purpose
I see Howe has stopped lieing and accepted fate regarding Isak. I can't wait until he's sold at this point. I'm excited by a fresh start. The lesson is we can't have top players at this club.. We need a squad full of good players. A tunnocks caramel side.
I love them though so I can accept that. Are people on this forum now starting to accept our fate and that we were not in fact being “clever” with the Ekitike and other deals. And in fact we where just not fit for purpose when dealing with these failed multiple transfers.
I'm actually not that worried, because any club would sell him for 150 million. If Newcastle land Sesko and 3 or 4 other top players we're going to be far better off over the course of a season and this ****ing noise will end until another player hits great heights. I suspect the club wants to sell him, but obviously they can't say that. Selling him is simply the best thing to do for the club long term. My concern is who's in control of incomings and if they will do an Everton.
Howe has once again confirmed we only have a small pool of players we're looking at and if we can't get them we won't sign anyone. At least my doing an Everton concern is quashed.
This is ridiculous. Is he trying to say we should have agreed a higher price with Burnley so that Man City wouldn’t have wanted to match it? Burnley shouldn’t have agreed the low price with us. Our failing was going for a player who had a buy back clause.of the nature of this one on him. New football regulator should look at buy back clauses anyway and outlaw them. Trafford doesn’t seem to get any choice in the matter.
