His loan ended at the end of June, so we stopped paying his wages then, unless the loan agreement allowed us to stop paying once he was banned.
We were told at the time of the original loan that there were mitigations for if he got banned, so unless that was fiction then maybe so?

For foreigners or older players or player with high wages, very common. Not common for youngsters, especially Turkish ones since they are not considered in limit of foreign players. Enis probably asked to leave, because Trabzon already signed 2 strikers this summer, and they already had one from Ukraine so Enis became the 4th striker in team. I don't know why they let him go free though, they could have loaned him.
