Root has now passed Ponting for number 2 on the all time Test runs list. Bit of a way to go before he catches Tendulkar though....
Take his average divide the runs needed by that, then look at the test schedule over the next years and we'll have a good Idea when he'll get the number one slot
Dawson will still be unavailable for Worcs next week, so I imagine it'll be the same top seven. Maybe even the same XI.
