This is where people get carried away. no-one is 'entitled' to know the discussions, offers, bids the senior club hierarchy have discussed or submitted for any player. It's their business (literally) and their money. Primary reason largely I ignore these types of threads.
Can’t keep relying on that though. May well be part of the plan but all it takes is a slight misjudgment and you’re knackered. I would be surprised and disappointed if the club was taking that sort of chance by taking us right to the upper limit this summer.
Aye of course. I’m not suggesting we are overspending pinning hopes on this, far too savvy for that. More that it’s a calculated risk. Should it pay off we’ve another years PL dollar anyway amd it becomes irrelevant.
we sold really well last season (Clarke, Jobe, and Watson) to allow us to spend now. We’ve got loads of young players that we could sell for PSR profit, plus we’ve added some young players that could sky rocket in value too. I think it’s fair to say from what we’ve eeen recently, we can trust the club to build sustainably. IMO We don’t need to fret about PSR limits in the future, we need to worry about getting a competitive squad now. We’re at least 5 signings away from that. We’ve also got one of the worst injury lists the division (Mundle, Cirkin, L09, Alese, Hjelde) with Patto/Rigg absent from pre-season matches too but expected to be back soon. Let’s hope for a few quality additions in next week, I’ve given up hope of anything today.
Couple of weeks ago when I was checking my phone at work I’d have missed about 3 updates in an hour, lucky to get that in a day at the minute
Agree with this, it's really important we get the rest of our business done, all important positions especially GK and CB
They’ve been my pick since the end of the season. If Liverpool get isak though that’s just a game changer.
