Just going off reports, mate. Most reliable ones seem to believe this to be true. Isak's clearly "looking at options" which means he's exploring the opportunities at, again from reports, Liverpool, PSG, Al Hilal and Barcelona. When a player that good is obviously available, then a deal will inevitably be done.
Good to know we are considering Sesko I'm considering Erling Haaland and a time machine to get prime Messi It's good to consider things
I dunno, sometimes you just can't change who you are. Howe's successfully Bournemouthed Newcastle's senior team. We have a senior set-up more suited to that kind of club. What he (Howe) has done on the pitch so far is incredible, but that can't then make him a DoF, CEO or whatever. The club, by now, should have surrounded him with competent people so he could spend even more time what he's clearly best at - and keep him the **** away from all this dilly dallying and transfer disasters.
PIF need to run NUFC like they run their top clubs in Saudi. Doesn't take them weeks to sign players.
It comes back to the great unknowns of how capable is Eales with his situation, why is he still there, why have we churned two DoF's, how does it take so long to make board changes, what - if anything - does Jamie Reuben do, how much power/influence is Howe exerting, and so on. Obviously it's varying degrees of all of the above, but I think the buck probably stops ultimately with PIF/Yasir's failure to deal with the Eales situation.
Once Eales announced his illness he should have had someone in place to take over. Eales has likely spent the majority of time receiving treatment. There is literally no-one between the top and Howe.
