Not sure about the home kit. I'm not keen on the central badge and the black around it. I thought the bridge highlight on the white stripes would be more bridgey if that makes sense. It just looks like a row of chain stitch to me :emoticon-0111-blush

Yeah, the black border is my only gripe, but I really really like this kit, it's one of my favourites in the last 5 or so years. But tbf I think every single Hummel effort will beat every single Nike effort so my top 5 will all end up being hummel kits <laugh>

Not keen on the home kit at all, but it was always on a hiding to nothing after last year's masterpiece

Same. I got lucky as I was up early, signed on, got a work call at 7:55 which I just got off!! Managed to bag one if the last 3 they had without sponsorship logo!

That seems to be clear . . . . you've posted about how good quite a few strips are, but I can't see that you've mentioned anything about S.A.F.C.s new home shirt. What do you think of it ?

Because I’m no longer a teenager?

Not keen on the home shirt, black background on the badge spoils it I think. Away one is superb though, Hummel smashed it again with that

I think the home one is poor. Was the worst out of the three in prints I seen and it still is. It's better in the flesh but they have tried to be too clever for me. The tramline bridge in the white stripes look cheap and not needed. The reference of the bridge on the back would have been sufficient. The massive black background of the badge in the middle just looks out of synch with the stripes.

the design IMO is lacking, it actually looks better with the sponsor, without it, looks cheap with the reasons above. Almost like a turkey knock off, I think that's due to the badge and stupid thin sticking of the tramline in the white stripe.

The away and third shirts are belters IMO with the latter being my favourite.

We can't win them all I suppose. Its not the worst top we've had out, (pin stripes)but as it's already been said, we were spoiled rotten with last years home kit. I'm all for bespoke and retro, but I think for next years kit we could do with a break from old school, because everyone's doing it now,and try something a bit more "modern".... whatever that is. Not s**ting on the kit by any means.

Randomly I think it looks worse. Normally would never say that but the lack of clear derail with loads of space and those tramlines through the stripes, makes it look like a DH gate special

I was there at about 15:30 and bought 4 home shirts . . . . there was a queue, but there was plenty of stock :emoticon-0100-smile

    I need to return, though, 'cos I didn't get one for my oldest grandson . . . . what a tit <doh>
