Certainly used to being under fire given he played for Salernitana when they conceded 81 goals in 38 games. Not much to do with him tbf but Jesus
Personally think the club is clever enough to have the odd deflection "leak" to take away from the intended targets. Relaxed about it all to be honest. They have shown they can be trusted.
That's a poor deal for Burnley to be honest. Thought they would have got more for him. I'm not at all sure on Ortega. People rave about him but I honestly don't think it's possibly to rate him based on a small sample size at Man City.
Does every club just quote us a minimum of €20m for anyone we enquire about? Used to get you quality players now it seems gets you the bare minimum for PL standard
Yes please from me. I like him, well actually I like all Italian defenders. They turned defending into a thing of beauty. If we are going to need to defend lets do it with style and panache I say.
I've always liked the look of Seelt, even when he was filling in at RB the season before last, he looked very competent. I think we've got a big player there (in more ways than one). Have to admit, I'm yet to be won over by Hjelde mind.
Aye. May well be a lazy link. He isn’t anywhere near the others we’ve been linked with. I’d say he is more a typical defender whereas all the links have pointed to players who can play out a bit. Pirola never had the passing range when he was at Salernitana. He went Greece for pennies though so I don’t see where they’ve come lucked 20mill from. Half that really unless he’s significantly improved. Only age in his favour over Luc and Diakite, they are levels above him.
Haven't seen all that much of him but he seems very Italian if you know what I mean Proper defend first, ball in row Z player
I enjoy watching U21 internationals. He has looked good in those, although recently as overage. Captained Italy U21s though, not a bad badge to have. 20m seems steep, but the fees in the media are almost exclusively guesses.
