Yeah, I moaned like hell when I saw the prices but I'll still buy a ticket if they reach my bracket. At least it will be on my payday!
One thing I noticed on the selling details is the subject to availability bit bolded below. Wednesday 23rd July 9:30am - 2025/26 Season Ticket Holders who attended 10+ away matches across the 24/25 season. (Subject to availability) Does that mean that there are more than 2001 people on 10+ games? I always assumed that the first window was a guaranteed sale - if it isn't then it should be as otherwise it means someone on 20 could potentially miss out with people on 10 getting one?
Not sure we’ll be doing a lot this season, but we’ve only got 3 games from last. Might be able to help if it’s a game up north that Libby’s going to
Mrs S tells me it’s £43 for standing in upper tier, but only £35 for seats in lower I thought standing areas were to open games up to fans who wanted a more old-school experience at a more affordable price?
I've not sat there but I can easily imagine the view from the lower tier being dreadful which is why the upper tier is more expensive. It's probably not a standing area in the home end.
I know they have to be sure everyone is aware of the legal obligations but that seems a bit over the top. How many windows are there at St Mary's?
Today's windows for Ipswich game 9:30am - 2025/26 Season Ticket Holders who attended 6+ away matches across the 24/25 season. (Subject to availability) 12:30pm - 2025/26 Season Ticket Holders who attended 5+ away matches across the 24/25 season. (Subject to availability) 3:30pm - 2025/26 Season Ticket Holders who attended 4+ away matches across the 24/25 season. (Subject to availability)
Ipswich ticket bought. There's approx 1 block in the upper tier left with a few in the lower section. I'm glad they've stopped the policy of not leaving one empty seat on its own when you're buying now - ****ing hated that.
Have bitten the bullet and decided to go to Hull on 20th September. Have booked my train now as I got a good deal - £95 for both journeys. Train journey is easy enough and stadium is very near the train station so easy call to go by train. I've made the slight assumption that I will have no issue getting a ticket!
That's pretty cheap to be fair. I've booked myself a hire car for Hull as I hate using trains. Firstly because they're unreliable but also since being sober I can't think of anything worse sharing a train with loads of pissed up Saints fans for hours. Suspect you'll probably be fine for Hull ticket wise. You'll be on 7 by then and reckon it'll go lower than that.
TBF I've always found trains to be reliable if you do all your checks beforehand i.e. engineering works! And I'll be buying some cans before the journey home!
