It's as if big clubs never ever sell top players. Players want to move on, clubs get money for them. They can then reinvest. It's just how it is. We're just not used to selling someone for quite so much.

 

The concern is not a lot have faith right now that we can bring the quality in. That’s all I think.

It would allow PIF to get our income over the magic 500/600mil seasonal revenue barrier and allow the club to compete on a more even footing with the "Big 6" going forward.

It took Longstaff 4 weeks to sign for Leeds.
