I was hesitant with the home from the PDF design I saw, then the leak looked naff but after the reveal I really really like it and think it works very well
It’s the Patrick strip and just like that one it’s basically gorgeous. Now we just need David Buchanan running round in it.
It's an imrovement from the prints previously but still canny lifting IMO. The tramlines in the stripes just don't work. The massive black design around the new badge which overlaps into the actual stripes just puts in out of synch.
Better than the leak but i'm not a huge fan. Still rather have this than most of the nike templates we got though.
That's the one thing for me, wish they used a white border like last season's. I honestly think we need a new badge that easier to embroid
We were completely spoiled by last seasons kit which was a thing of beauty and style. Anything after that was always going to be second best.
I thought we had to have a white square on the back of the top due to PL rules. FWIW I hate central badges. Not that that matters!
I like the detail on the sleeves and collar. Quite like the central badge, not sure about the black background but it'll probably grow on me. I prefer the hummel chevrons when they go all the way down the arms. 7/10 overall for me. Away is an 8/10
I had plenty to say about the bit in the white stipe but I don't think it's obvious inost views of it unless up close the centre badge looks alright but I prefer it over where it normally is. Overall it looks decent but the biggest let down is the badge etc look stuck on. If that's the worst of the 3 we are still better off than we have been for a long time for kits!
