I don't think that always means that something big is going to happen, doesn't seem like we're close to anything at the minute
Never said they would. Cash isn't meant to be a problem for them (I have my doubts), PSR is the restrictive factor. Selling Isak for, say, £130m would probably give them scope to spend about £350m on players on five year contracts without bothering PSR thresholds.
I'm more shocked why we are even thinking about that CB pairing, I think we seem to be making canny progress with the CB targets, not far off the valuations bar Diakite and both seem to be open for the move
It all started because I said its hard to judge if we've had a better window than Leeds before we've signed any centre backs. All blew a bit out of proportion. The business we have done has been brilliant, but work to do.
Balard and Seelt is our Cb pairing now tho, until someone actually signs they'll be 1st choice for West ham game I so think we'll have 1 in by then at least
Going to Hearts on Saturday. Going to Germany in 2 weeks for a pre-season friendly. Will attend 30+ PL games this season. You can’t question my love or support for SAFC. Didn’t you bother going last season? But you’ll be back for the PL? Hmmm
absolutely wouldn't be the end of the world. In fact I'm pretty sure at least one of them (probably Ballard) will be starting
Also doesn't mean whoever comes in starts 1st game of the season The longer it takes for them to.come in and learn the system then it's more likely Ballard and Seelt start the season Id be fine them starting teh 1st game, I get we still need 2 tho. If we don't have 1 signed by Betis then I think Seelt and Ballard will start the season
Let's not say people don't love the club because they want to see better players signed, all whilst the club are actively trying to sign better players.
Good for you, hopefully you’re right I mean WHU are favourites to win the game but nobody can really argue with that, we’re newly promoted
