England going nicely at tea, 77-0. I thought it would be difficult for England's batters this afternoon, but India have bowled poorly.

Sun's out now and England are in a strong position.

 

Another good bowling performance from Stokes again, main bowler for along with Archer, good start from England & glad Crawley is going along nicely & get some people off his back

 

The England management seem determined to stick with Crawley, come what may, and he seems certain to go to Australia. A big score here will help his confidence.

 

A very comfortable morning's batting for England, if a bit slow by Bazball standards - 107 off 28 overs.

Just 26 behind now, we should be able to bat India out of the match. 250 ahead by close would be nice.

 

I imagine things will speed up before tea….nice mornings work, has eased my hangover very nicely.
