Agree with this. That's why we don't sell him. We have a budget (apparently) to buy a RCD and a goalkeeper. Get them, keep Isak and combined with Elanga that would be a cracking window. No one has yet explained to me why we need to sell Isak. I don't accept he'll drop his standards when we're pushing for CL next season or when we have CL games. He might be unhappy but give him £200,000 + pw and agree he can go in 2 years if he still wants to. Guaranteed £10.5 M for the next 3 years. If hes unhappy then, tough. Go and sue his Agent for negotiating a 5 year contract.
Again working on the premises that the media reports are true the Club may have actually played a blinder. Given how our 'transfers' team can only work on one deal at a time. And further given we are negotiating deals for Trafford and Wissa. There won't be sufficient time to negotiate any sale of Isak as there is only 5 and a bit weeks left in the transfer window. Simples.
It's apparently b/s. His agent is trying to force NUFC to given him a massively improved contract. It's a give us this or else.
Anyone else wish their Dad's were cricket or rugby fans??? I'm hoping Isak "Exploring his options" is his way or forcing a better contract, if not it better be Saudi or PSG. I just hope the club can get out of 1st gear if it happens and sign some players. With £150m we could go for Watkins, Wissa, Sesko, Douglas Luiz, Scalvini that french keepers who's name escapes me etc etc.
My local... quality boozer. Mentioned to @Albert's Chip Shop we could catch up for a beer there some time, but I think he's scared to get his wallet out.
Does anyone else not think this makes the club look really daft? The media team so out of touch it's incredible. Appreciate I just said I despise social media, but I left because it's absolutely awash with fans and plastic fans losing their mind over the Isak issue, and the lack of players coming in. To put out posts about this kid who's nowhere near a 1st team player is just incredibly tone deaf to the point of being comical, almost like the club's actually trying to wind people up!!
The people running the club at the moment are just reminding people of Mike Ashley. Darren Eales has been a disastrous appointment. Communication ceased the minute he made sure that Staveley was forced out.
You do know she had a bankruptcy case going on? She would have been forced to sell up her shares or hand them over to the Turkish shipping bloke.
Well if he does go to premiership club then I'm cancelling skysports in protest and going down the stream route. Time to make a stand
I just like to cheer your lads up. One day of hope in 70 years and then the bin dippers and the cabal come to ruin it.
At least we can get Scalvini now..maybe. Bring in Sesko and Openda. Don't let the door hit you on the way out, Alex.
