Talk of Ramazani going out to loan, hough he is not keen. Greek club Aris Thessaloniki were interested in a loan with an option to buy, but according to the Athletic, Largie was not interested.
Not heard of Lucas Perri until this summer. Bucks mentioned it yesterday so I fast forwarded through a couple of his games last night. It's only a snap shot of him but he looks dodgy on crosses, loses concentration and is very Meslieresque in my limited opinion. He's a bit flappy. Very good shot stopper and his distribution is very strong. He's a tall lad with a bit more meat on him than Meslier. I was left pretty underwhelmed by him tbh. Ive watched the obligatory highlight reels too and even they look a bit flappy. Not sure on this one.
According to Ger on The View Ramazani and Leeds have no intention of loaning him out. It’s also been reported that Adam Underwood and Co have done a great job on selling Leeds to Piaxoa, the project sounded and looked good and Raphinha was also used. Brazilian keeper Perri and Brazilian Rodrigo Muniz were also mentioned as possible buys and offers for both submitted. I like a bit of creativity
I hope this is just spin Ell, Ramazani is going to be class, not bothered if another winger comes in, the rat has to be moved on sharpish, Joseph can go do one, put £10 million on him with add ons. Keeper and striker we need and fast Mr. Parathe. Get it all settled then let’s get stuck in the the new season.
I started looking into him at the start of the month, I also watch the transfer thread on the Sunderland board, it's mental, 1756 pages so far, a few who post on their watch an awful lot of overseas football, a few fruit cakes too but plenty who know their stuff. They really wanted Petrovic first, Perri second, a few have said he is a bit of a loose cannon at times, footage I have seen I came to a similar conclusion as yourself. I then see footage of Celtic and Newcastle and the error Pope made, I guess Meslier has made a few too many mistakes and on top of his poor distribution, flapping and how he allows nerves to get to him, I guess Perri just has to be an improvement. He ended the campaign with an xG of +3.8 meaning he essentially saved four shots that should have ended up as goals. Saves he made in 2025
JOSEPH He's committed the ultimate sin in Leeds eyes by saying he wants to leave ... can't see how he stays now, and Farke going public is basically the goodbye kiss ... if Betis can't afford him, I would consider loaning him to Rangers so he can go score lots of goals and build his profile, then look at selling him next year for a bigger sum KEEPER Perri looks like a solid signing if we get it done, that will mean Meslier definitely goes (probably a loan with buy option unless someone is willing to pay cash) ... feel a bit sad for Meslier, but he definitely needs a different environment to rebuild his confidence ... there's a good keeper in there, but the pressure of being Leeds got to him WING AND A PRAYER Ramazani is a proper talent, lad has the ability to be as good as Raphinha if he works hard ... thing is, he's not yet matured and still has the big kid vibes going, and although it's great to be a smiler in the squad, Farke is clearly creating a serious and focused culture at Leeds (lots of hard work being key) ... if Leeds do get Paixao then a loan for Largie to a Championship club chasing promotion will be beneficial for his development ... I expect if this happens Leeds will want a guarantee of lots of starts for Largie So what now for Harrison? The one thing Jack does bring is graft, and Farke values this highly ... I can still see him leaving though, but only option looks like another loan ... who will take on his wages though? SO FAR SO GOOD Leeds have done really good business so far, and £60m seems ridiculously low for what we've got ... it's been very sensible signings, and it leaves room to push to boat out on at least on marquee signing ... of course the ideal scenario now is we get cash for Bamford, Harrison, Meslier and Joseph to balance the books a bit more ... then there's also the possibility that Struijk is sold now that we have added depth in his position, and Ampadu can also fit in at CB comfortably ... still a long way to go in this window, but definitely good work so far
Farke could be sacked before the new year, loan Ramazani and see where we are at come January. Farkes been behind some decent signings but he’s also let Cresswell leave too early
I don't think it's an ability thing with either of them. With Schmidt - he was signed (we thought) as a fullback but got brought on as a winger - he looks a nice footballer but a bit lightweight. With largie... stevie wonder could see he wasn't fit enough early in the season... he faded badly in games - then he got crocked. Then, when he started getting game time again, he dicked about and got caught in possession when we were meant to be managing the game. Managers hate that sort of stuff. To me, i see what everyone else sees in Largie... skillful, good finisher - but i think there are question marks over his physicality and attitude. Just question marks, nothing definitive, i'd like us to keep him as he has a bit of x factor.
He also turned his nose up at Cresswell, Hes ripping it up at Toulouse and he had a great U21 tournament, even the pundits mentioned he was one of the players of the tournament, hope it four come back to haunt you Mr. Farke.
Leeds didnt mistreat Cresswell. He was never really good enough to play in our starting line up. We did the right thing by sending him on loan to Millwall where he did quite well after a rocky start. The next season we gave him the number 5 shirt and gave him a couple of starts. He didnt take his chance and to be fair was still a fair bit behind Ampadu, Rodon and Struijk. At the start of last season is where I think Leeds ****ed up. We should have sent him off to France on loan to gain even more experience at a higher level than Millwall. A bit like Brighton did with Ben White (Newport and then Leeds). Instead we took a small fee with a big sell on clause. Who knows, without the funds for Cresswell, we might not have afforded Solomons wages for the season and he ultimately got us up. Leeds did not mistreat Cresswell at all. Cresswells family are not angry with Leeds as has been reported. His younger brother is still on the books here.
