Half of Antalya board is Fenerbahce congress member, it is same circle of business people around Acun, so not surprising.
Coyle will be back in 3 weeks, he'll be the starting full back and Drameh will go back to warming the bench. If we're that concerned he can be sold once Coyle's back fit. We have a better right back who doesn't miss many games so it's pretty rough for Drameh to break through. We clearly need cash and he's someone who can raise some. It's basically the same argument that has been used for getting rid of Macca, & Alfie and bringing in frees to replace them. I'd argue in their relevant positions Macca and Alfie are better players though
Unless he stinks the place out for the next month or so the shirt is Drameh's to lose. If he does well in the opening 3 or 4 games why should he automatically make way for Coyle?
He’s nothing like ashbee, how many times after we conceded did you see him rallying the troops or pointing a finger. He’d just look at the floor, the first bit of fight he showed was in empress taxi rank
It’s not the same at all. We only have two right-backs. Coyle will be injured for the first few games of the season and there aren’t many free agents who would be a significant improvement on either that wouldn’t demand a big salary. Selling Drameh now would be ridiculous.
Because Lewie just finds a way to get into the team. We had Josh Emmanuel playing out of his skin, and he lost his place and then we brought in Christie with a big reputation and he lost his place too. It's just who he is and managers pick him again and again. It feels like once he gets the shirt, he doesn't lose it. I wouldn't be surprised to see Coyle available for the Cov game. I do feel like Drameh needs a year in L1 though playing every week.
So his name is automatically on the team sheet? Don't think we know enough about SJ to say he operates in that way yet. Derby would take Drameh so he needn't drop to League 1 if he were to move away from us
Not really, some were aware of your meaning. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Just watch him do his acl, we'll be stuck paying his wages for another year. Unless we can invoke breach of contract...
Now you’re just talking out of your arse. Multiple clubs in the Championship have been linked with him this summer and we’ve already rejected offers. Thinking he’s worse than Coyle is one thing but saying he’s not good enough for the Championship is just blatantly wrong.
You said he finds a way to get into the team. Why should he if the bloke ahead of him is playing well? Previous managers may have preferred him to other options but we don't know if SJ will. Drameh has a chance to make the shirt his own - TWT if he takes it
That's your opinion though, he couldn't get into a Birmingham side that got relegated and he couldn't get into ours that finished 21st on goal difference. If he's blatantly good enough for the Championship, why can't he get a game for poor Championship sides?
I'd wet myself if a ridiculously low bid came in for Coyle and we accepted it...Who would blame him if he did one?
