That is a disgraceful comment. There is *no equivalence* and that is not what is happening. If Israel had the *intent* to kill the palestinians they would all be dead by now. They have significant firepower and could have cut off food over a year ago. There is no need to organise some ludicrous "shooting people at aid stations" plan. You think that for a country that set up a company to build Hezbollah's pagers, this is the best they can come up with?
Starmer had very little choice than to play up to the Israeli lobbyists after Corbyn's mistakes. Given that the election was less than a year after the October 7th attacks, this is especially true. The press would've had an absolute field day with anything else and still would.
