We had something similar with Jobe. Gets promoted to the Premier league next thing we know he's on his way to Germany, everything agreed yet no offer excepted by the club. Club in the end relaxes the release clause and Jobe gets his move. Same way Jobe rocks up at our place before he left Birmingham.
Not good enough imo unfortunately. Giving him captaincy was a mistake, I don’t think it helped him last season and if anything put more pressure on. If he wasn’t the club captain I don’t think people would be as surprised to see him drop out of the team
Oh it definitely does no doubt about it but now we’re apart of it so I’m happy it’s definitely exploded in the 9 since we were here last time and I don’t think I noticed how much it had until we signed back to back to back 20 million players from teams that would have had European football
Disagree but even then, for me football is more than just the sum of the players on the pitch, someone like Dan adds something aspirational and romantic to the club, the city, the region. I get it, we want 11 Lionel Messis, everyone does, but maybe there's a way to keep a Dan Neil also.
Given their news 'Just In' this morning was the Ten Haag quotes we saw last night, I'm not holding out much hope for anything new.
Thats the thing he gives us options, may play two deep at times, may push him up in the 8 which is probably where he was best for arsenal at the end I also think the same with Neil he isnt just a 6 never has been - he adds flexibility also which is why I dont think its a case of one or the other, its more likely mean we let Browne leave
sky sports Germany reporter now on saying BL have all the power as he got 3 years left on contract fans dont want him to leave
Yep it's a squad game, going to be a long hard season - newly promoted sides normally run out of steam 2nd half of the season (and we did last year), so having a good squad is massive
Is tapping up just not a thing anymore because it looks like that's exactly what we and many other clubs are openly doing nowadays. Weird.
