I just think the club announces it when the deal is signed and done.

Apparently there were some minor issues with the paperwork over the Mosquera deal, which delayed his annoucement. But I'd expect it as soon as he joins up with the squad in Asia.

Same with Gyokeres if he travels out there.

Usually we're pretty good at getting all of the media stuff out on the same day that the player signs. The Zubemendi signing had it all on the same day (although the transfer seemed to take months to get done lol)

My only worry is that we go more defensive with Gyokeres.

Arteta went almost low block for a part of last Season when Odegaard was out - the main reason it wasn't successful is that we weren't clinical offensively.

Gyokeres may give Arteta the licence to sit deep and counter.

Nah, I don't see that happening.

If anything we've known we need more attacking players, so this is a push to play more attacking football again

Last season we played low block when we had most of our creative and dangerous players out injured, so it was needs must

I don't see this as being the default at all.

Whilst I agree to an extent, Arteta has become more conservative tactically in the last couple seasons and has prioritised control and structure over free-flowing, fluid football. I do think some of it is by design and we frequently ask a lot from our attackers (especially wingers) from a defensive standpoint.

I guess we will see when the season starts what the next step of our tactical evolution is. It'll be interesting.

It is vital we do not fall into the trap City did with Haaland - their football became far less of a threat as they organised themselves to focus purely on Haaland being the finisher.
I have hope that Gyokeres, given some of the reviews, is not as limited a footballer as Haaland and has much more to his game.

i doubt it to be honest - I think they likely ready all the PR work first, then announce.
    It is what it is.
Just think they could handle things far better, though I am happy they don;t get involved in any of the crazy speculation every transfer window.
