The thing is I really enjoy women’s cricket and am involved a lot in it, it’s evolved into it’s own sport you are not getting women who will bowl at 90 mph or women who are going to hit that ball out of the park but more thought goes into batting and bowling. I also enjoy watching England’s rugby team. I find myself hoping England don’t win these euros and having their game pushed further down my throat

The German centre forward played a blinder and would have got the WOM award until the end when the German goalie saved them with probably the best save any of us have witnessed. On a par with Gordon Banks' double save against Brazil in the 1970 World Cup game. Then got her just reward for doing her homework in the penalty shootout. The coach now needs to give the German team the next 48 hours off to recover in time to play Spain. Reminded me of the Play off game against Derby. Italians deserved to concede Their game management has been poor in the last 10 mins - always giving the ball back to England and not using the channels to clear and run the clock down England look much fresher - don't think the Italians have energy for another 30 mins
Great win Lionesses! They grew into the game as Italy were performing Preston levels of ****housery. I'm glad Agyemang scored to wipe the smiles and laughter on the Italian bench as they thought they had already won it. And another crucial winner for our Chloe.
