Well that’s improved the scoring stats for the penalties. Much more reminiscent of a men’s shoot out and, with grim inevitably, Germany go through
Bonkers semi. Seemed almost impossible for France to lose after the early goal/red card. Yet another set piece goal was crucial for Germany though, and there was another smack of the crossbar again too. Seems so strange to me that there's been so many of both of those things in this tournament when they're relatively rare in the wider game.
I think this referee just told 2 Italians if you think im having 35 minutes of play acting think again...
