Don’t feel they’re good enough or experienced enough. We need another forward

    Take it you disagree?

I’ll trust the club to bring in another forward.

Are there any players apart from ELF from last year you think should play this season?

    Aye, plenty.

Hume, Ballard, Cirkin, Rigg, Mayenda and Isidor will all get enough minutes :emoticon-0148-yes: Sure there’s more too.

If they don't I think we will be 1 striker short imo

Abdullahi could do with a loan and I'd like a different profile of a striker than Mayenda and Isidor

CF def isn't no1 priority, CB is imo but signing a quakity CF will massively help us

I think we’d struggle. Still be there backing them most weeks though. I know we’ll give it a good shot.

I didn’t mean it individually. I feel Mayenda, Isidor and Abdullahi isn’t enough as a forward group in the PL. I’m sure loads would agree tbf

To be fair you did declare Mayenda useless and said he was a donkey or whatever it was.

That's the problem with writing players off tbh ...

... especially when you have coaches like ours developing them.

It looks to me like we're prioritising a spread of goals across the entire front line rather than a 20 goal target man/centre forward.

I'd like to think we'll bring in a PL standard CF loan but most of those teams don't often have enough, let alone spares.

Unless we buy someone, from Europe, I can't see who it can be tbh.

Been through this many times. Mayenda took a lot of stick - I showed frustration after a player missed guilt edged chances and cost us victory. He done the business come the end of the season, his development has been ridiculous. Fair play to him

So maybe Abdullahi could do the same if he was given a chance

Absolutely could but probably better suited to a loan.

I think we could do with a ready made top level goal scorer

Maybe he could. I’m just not sure those 3 are enough, I think the club will feel the same too.

It was just a general point about how many times players are written off, not necessarily Mayenda.

People make judgements based on very little information but seem totally convinced they're right.

As you say people probably just get carried away and blurt things out.

Yeah the club clearly do with strikers being targeted, I felt abdullahi came off early to ensure he's not injured for a potential loan out.

I hope you’re right. A loan would suit all parties imo
