Hate it when clubs go out there and improve their teams out of blind panic rather than an actual desire to improve.

Not really weighed in much over the transfer window as I tend to wait and see where everything ends up.
Pre season always throws up doubts and concerns about squad and first team formations, tactics skill level etc.
Over the years I have seen us have great pre season but dissapointing seasons and very much the reverse when having a good season.
RLB is saying he is looking for good connections and he talks about this a great deal in a lot of his interviews going back to when he was appointed. I don't think this is him talking about just the first team I think this is him referencing the project.
On our transfer business so far IMO I think the club have done very well and if the season were to start tomorrow I am of the opinion that we would compete well, but I do agree that a new CB and possibly a GK will move the needle on our possible finishing places (I do also think the new coaches and the fact our manager seems to be very tactically aware) and push us further up the table.

Not necessarily mind. Numbers are the thing in midfield. If I was him, I'd be beating the door down to stay. There will be less pressure on him, he'll definitely get games, will definitely improve as he's a goodun and will have a " set for life" contract in the bag.

That's probably from someone who isn't the 'Brain of Britain' (Martin Oddy), but it sounds good, doesn't it . . . . our players aren't as good as City's or Liverpool's

People can't hack fans of other clubs being excited. Like people hate Birmingham fans lately and Ipswich fans before that.

Let them hate. This is fun. And based on sound judgement.

Well he had no option, he had run out of road.

But worse, if we had beaten Charlton on that awful day, we would have been sold to the first, similar in type, chancer to give him a profit.
