    What an absolutely huge signing if it comes off and the the thing for me is there could potentially be a significant dominoes effect for other perspective signings who may have not been so sure

    Makes you wonder with this Xhaka news being on the horizon the club made any excuse to pull out of the Lauriente deal.

    Lauriente's agents, at the last minute, possibly only asked for an additional 10p mix up and a Curly Wurly. Sunderland's reps probably responded, insulted, by shouting '**** YOU' and stormed out!
