Apparently burns has been instructed to keep mentioning the allam centre's at hri and castle hill twice at least in every commentary

Wasn’t there something to do with using borrowed funds for other means to pay for transfer fees? Docherty and Coyle spring to mind
FOTOSPOR EXPOSED THE TRANSFER SCANDAL INVOLVING ACUN ILICALI'S TEAM! Official offer from Konyaspor not being considered! A club employee traveled to England at Hull City's invitation before and after the transfer. A month later, the player transferred to the club for free!
Sadly, I've got to admit that the common sense thing to do, for me, is to wait to see who turns out on the opening day before making a decision about whether to purchase a season ticket...Yes, its a sad indictment of the club I love. I know. But I don't want to see another season of home spankings. That's going to be worse than last season, if that's even possible. I'm sure the pragmatists amongst you will understand. Perhaps I'm not the only one to be thinking these thoughts.
Right, hang on a minute. Some people really think that Ehab has told a very famous Turkish guy to buy the club, spend £80m in 3 seasons and leave us scraping safety and obliterate his own reputation and profile just to make Ehab look better so he can buy it back? Do these people live in the real world and see how that could ever be possible? I have read some stuff in my time but it boggles my mind that people think this and other people agree with it.
My suggestion to give it a rest, was in regard to your comment to the previous poster voicing an opinion, that you replied to, I was not suggesting that you should not voice your opinion about the owner. I see no need by you or your fans, to try and put other fellow supports of the same club down.
Is that how you see it gt? You make it sound like you had not lost anything in your tale? You being the owner.
But substantially overpaying for 2 indifferent players (I have a feeling Burstow may come good) doesn't make Puerta 'good value'. He's got clear technical ability about but in a handful of good/very good performances but there was a lot of indifference in there as well. We looked at Max Bird under LR, and he went to Bristol City for I think around £1m. He played 48 games, last season, 45 starts and got more goal contributions than anyone in our squad. I just think you can find a lot better value, even we found Matazo for about 2/3rds of the price and from what we saw, he's a level above.
Probably didn’t help his inconsistency appearances wise. Completely ****ed about all season due to that clause, they can deny it all they want but if Matazo was fit he’d not have made it to the threshold. No chance.
Undoubtedly, if Matazo was fit, we wouldn't have kept Puerta. I also think if we'd have been higher up the table we wouldn't have either. It was a punt of a signing though, he hadn't played regularly since he was playing in the Colombian 2nd tier and that was in 2022. **** knows how they scouted him
He was in the Leverkusen squad all season, played enough to have games to watch. Either way, he was fresh off a fully deserved POTM then dropped completely. Matazo looked excellent but Puerta pretty much always outperformed Slater when they played together. The financial mismanagement was clear as day in the season most just ignored it because the club lied. Also didn’t he have a full tournament with Colombia u20s in the summer?
He only played 230 minutes over 10 apps for Leverkusen. The u20 tournament was in Jan 23. It's just not a lot to go off when you're potentially comitting to spend £3.5m on a player. It's still a lot for us. I think we should've tried to renegotiate that clause through the season as I think we'd be able to have got him for £2m. And if we were to bench him for 6 months, that doesn't help Leverkusen one bit either. Slater's a funny one, he definitely has indifferent performances, but he's regularly picked time and time again by different managers. His versatility is great, he's a top character, and he doesn't miss many games so he's great to have in the squad.
Yeah that's fair about Max Bird, but he had a straight choice between us and Brizzle and he chose them. I think that at 20 years old, given he didn't speak the language when he arrived and got messed about half way through the season when the appearances thing kicked in, he did very well once he was settled in the side. Nobody performed well under Walter, I couldn't name you a player that had a consistent run under him outside of Pandur because he was consistently having to make saves to keep us in the game.
