Interestingly he's a right footed right winger who cuts inside not goes outside. would like to see him mix it up. but really really pleased with how he's done today

 

What a great watch that was BTW, brilliant in and out of possession

Poor goal to concede but what was impressive is they learned from that and adapted to it

Diarra sadiki and Le Fee are really impressing as the midfield 3, going to be some effort by someone to break that 3

Special mention for Jones, lovely footballer and didnt look out of place at all. Definitely needs a loan to play week in week out, but really good 1st half from him

Yeah he does, I would agree. He has lovely composure. Forgot how tall he was. Proper lanky ain't he

 

Deserved a goal. Good performance one blown offside trap apart. If we click we’ll be so dangerous. Would like to see one or two of the others get a turn with this lot though. Talbi really growing into it there but Pat would be having a field day. Really need Reg to master the art of rotation this season. Would be good to see if we can build a connection between a few more of them. One to watch out for in the coming weeks.

 

Very impressed with that. The difference is night and day in our play. Feels like RLB is starting to get the right profile of player for the system he wants

Honestly I know we need centre backs but I would not be massively concerned if this was the team, with Reinildo in for Jones (who's done nowt wrong). Add one or maybe even two centre backs and we're laughing.

And this may be controversial but if we sign just one centre back I'd probably be playing Seelt based on the 90 mins of pre-season I've watched so far.

Long way to go though.

 

Great first half and probs should be leading. One poor piece of play and we were punished.

I think adingra will be frustrating at times but so quick and always gets at his man. Talbi looks a project player but very sharp.

The midfield 3 just looks spot on. Going to take a big step up from some of the lads from last year (the way it has to be) to earn their place here. Only 4 new players started there and the step up looks significant already. Very promising.

 

It was his fault, as he stepped out when there was no pressure on the ball rather than dropping off - nothing wrong with making that mistake here though (the GK didn't help him at all). I do agree his other defenders didn't bail him out by dropping quicker, but Ballard has played well outside that and you can tell he's already learning from it

I think he can play in this line, will just need to learn what to do when there's pressure on the ball and when there isn't - but that's the same for all

 

Talbi looking much better compared to the Sevilla game.

I’m loving our press. This CM we have now is our first choice as it stands. No question about it.

New keeper is a must. Don’t want to rely on Moore or Blondy should Patterson get injured/suspended.
