Yeah Im entitled. Entitled to an opinion and my opinion is at the moment, this club is looking lost. I hear things about smoke screens, No sponsors as waiting APT2 etc, we played a blinder by forcing pool to go for Etileke and then can't raise concerns as it make you entitled or a bed wetter. All I know at the moment, is our defence is too slow, we can't break down a low block and we a world class striker who if he gets injured, we are really in the charts. So yes I'm entitled, entitled to be concerned about the state NUFC is currently in
Only Newcastle can appoint Jack Ross and this fella into new roles, reporting into a sporting director who isn’t even hired yet.
Time for a sabbatical from this meltdown. I’ve seen less panic in a burning primary school full of children
It's not bad news, so that's a start. In my mind, this is the sort of appointment we should have already had in, same as the new set-piece coach, so it's a case of better late than never I suppose. Let's just get Jason Ayto done and in as Sporting Director. Give him a pre-approved budget and an un-interrupted day with Nickson, Howe & Howe (now to be collectively called "The Law Firm") and let him smash through targets AFAP
Never said you weren’t entitled to an opinion. But just as much as you are then so am I. Your concerns result in your deciding the Club is looking lost and are now said to be 1. No sponsors as waiting for APT2. Same as it was last season. 2. We don’t have Ekitike. Same as it was last season. 3. Defence is too slow. Same as it was last season. 4. We can’t break down a low block. Same as it was last season. 5. If world class striker is injured, we’re stuffed. Same as it was last season. 6. Last season we won the League Cup 7. Last season we qualified for the CL. 8. Transfer window still open for another 6 weeks. And that shows we are ‘lost’? Yes the Club have things to sort but we have time and it would appear as if we are trying. So if you are asking me, which I’m sure you’re not, then yes ‘entitled’ and yes ‘Bedwetter’. All logical, rational etc.
Apparently this thing has a budget about 1/50th of what it probably needs to, and the almost sole focus is to act as an intermediary between the PL and the EFL over payments down the pyramid. There'll be tonnes of people believing this will have an impact on PSR, but they won't have the manpower or budget to do a thing about that. If the PIF and Mansour can't budge it, nobody can.
