Phew, St Jab breathes a sigh of relief. Clicked my link to BBC 6 radio to find it wasn't available overseas in the app from today, bugger and **** says I. A search found https://www.bbc.co.uk/future/articl...-are-now-available-on-the-bbc-website-and-app which has an update for access for overseas listeners with links to all national and local stations such as this https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/live/bbc_6music#noapp There's more info in the article, well done the Beeb, I don't suppose I was alone in having a grumble when the closure was announced.
Technical hitch, the link doesn't work on my android phone. I deleted the BBC sounds app as instructed restarted the phone but it still tries to open in the old app. Fixed it, had to uninstall twice, from the app in store and the app list. All is cool the beer is cold.
