I'd be in favour - proper punishments - but it would take years to get through Parliament... just another Fartrage soundbite, I'm afraid ...
Was outrageous really mate to go to such a length to claim what Israel is doing is the worst thing since the Holocaust.
I don't particularly agree with what Farage has said in that video. For starters, Ian Huntley, now I've not kept track of where he's at and his behaviour record inside, but I'm not really sure why Huntley is the focus, as far as I'm aware from a very quick google, he's serving two life sentences, I assume and could be wrong, but I assume he will never be released. So why is a person whose future aim is to be PM, discussing this individual (insert soundbite). Now if that is because we deem inside is not severe enough punishment, then go and lob the **** off a UK bridge, the only cost to the exchequer will be the petrol fee to drive him there, because everyone else would happily give their time for free. I'd even chip in for the petrol money. When I hear statements like this, I really think we've lost the plot, and that Farage is going to be as much the problem. I'd happily sit down with any politician to discuss how to deal with overcrowded prisons, and sorting crime, they might not like what I say, but it's way better than jetting people to a faraway place, it's just utterly ridiculous. If people want stricter punishment but not death, then put the military in charge of him and build the detention centres to control that, just like El Salavador did.
Tbph Fosse, that Farage video is a good advertisement of why not to vote for him. We need new and sensible ideas, not more Rwanda style schemes. Deal with our own, we just need to do it harder, stronger and tougher, import people to man the prison sites, but that would mean oversea migrants coming here to work, and would need signing off by @Sucky.
It's lip service to the far right whilst also playing to the scaremongering which is engendering a growing disquiet amongst even the more moderate and reasonable in our society ... the only real flaw in your solution is the implied assumption that Sucky can actually write ... he can undoubtedly pay lip service mind
Why is it always that? Why don't we train up the many unemployed people we have here already? Gotta be cheaper than 12b a year in hotels for people who are good for nothing and won't put **** all into this country apart from rising rape stats.
You could train the unemployed, but not sure Dorothy would be happy to deal with some 7 foot mass murderer who killed people with his bare hands.
