I think he would be used as an AM, that's where he's at his best - might mean Rigg playing deeper or Enzo, i don't think we have a natural no10 at the minute
I guess El Khannouss makes more sense if he's the Lauriente alternative. But I don't like his AFCON-ness
RLB said he was comfortable that we would have a strong enough squad by the end of the window to deal with AFCON. They clearly recognise the problem and think they can overcome it. Suggests there will be plenty of new faces still to come even if El Khannouss is one of them.
Unless it was the day before the window closes and then plenty of supporters would be shouting “give them what they want man…..KLD and KS out!!”
El Khannouss is overkill imo, just like Lauriente. We’d be far better served getting a left footed flexible attacker. He’s nice, but he’s not right for a squad that is rapidly approaching its limit in terms of midfield/attacking players.
