Apart from a nice stadium, and frequent bail outs, his vast fortune hasn’t seen us ever really go for it promotion wise While I applaud LM for last seasons top 6 finish under tragic personal circumstances, I still maintain it was equally due to the failure of other bigger and more fancied teams that we made the Playoffs What will happen this season is anyone’s guess but anticipation is growing
I don’t know why anticipation is growing. I don’t feel it. We still haven’t signed a striker or a decent proven goalkeeper - and our first choice GK - although dodgy - is now out for 4 months. I don’t think we will get relegated but I think the start to the season will be very tough indeed. Not confident at all. Mid-table finish would be an achievement IMHO.
